Yummo

I've been having fun squeezing in some cooking and baking into the busy schedule.

I got the book "Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a Day".
The first step is to mix the dough, then stick it in the fridge. You can then make bread from it over the next two weeks (the longer it rests the more it takes on a sourdough flavor).

After about a week in the fridge, I did the basic "Boule" bread.

Then, on Thursday, I tried making foccacia bread...which turned out really good. I decided to make it an appetizer before we headed out for date night.

Then today, I had some leftover chicken, so I made sandwiches using the focaccia, cold chicken, apple slices and cheese...yummo.
