He is Risen - Happy Easter!
I'm so thankful for what Christ did for us on the cross. He nailed my sin, and all the powers of the enemy to the cross once and for all!!
Colossians 2:11 - 15
In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Thank you Jesus!
The kids had fun opening their Easter baskets this morning....

It's Party Time!
On Saturday we celebrated Dear-Husband's (DH) birthday and Easter with some of our family. DD helped make Daddy's cake.
We had a fun Easter Egg hunt...and lots of BBQ chicken...mmmm.
DD was so excited to have her friend over to play!

Busy times
I was using this blog as a weight loss journal, but now I think I'll make it an "everything" blog. Our little family has so much going on these days, there should be plenty of material!!
We just finished celebrating Easter...it was a fun (and exhausting) day. DD now thinks we eat candy at all hours of the day (which I am trying to fix).
This week we are moving the kids into one shared bedroom. DD's room is being converted into an office for Brett, since he will be working from home for his new job starting Monday. Things are a little crazy at the house getting things moved around, but I'm excited to *hopefully* get some organizing done as a result.
Here is the new bedding I'm planning to get for the kid's room...
