Extreme Makeover - Home Edition

What a weekend! Friday I took off work to help DH paint and prepare his new office. It turned out very nice!

DD and DS continue to do well with there new sleeping arrangements...only have to go in there a "few" times every night.  DS is teething too, 4 at the same time I think, so he's been having a harder time than usual.

Then Sunday I spent a good part of the day arranging the dining room into a playroom for the kids, which was no small task. I still have work to do, going through some piles that were created from the moves, but things are looking good so far.

The big switch...

Last night was DD & DS's first night in the same room. DD was very excited, and I think DS was too, since he was jumping in his bed for the LONGEST time.

I did have to go in there 3 times to say - be quiet and go to sleep!! I think this might become the norm :-)

We are keeping Josh in his crib for a couple more nights, so he gets used to having DD in the room...then it's BIG BOY BED.

Notice in the picture that DS is in mid-air...I think he might want to be a gymnast when he grows up.

Busy times

I was using this blog as a weight loss journal, but now I think I'll make it an "everything" blog. Our little family has so much going on these days, there should be plenty of material!!

We just finished celebrating Easter...it was a fun (and exhausting) day. DD now thinks we eat candy at all hours of the day (which I am trying to fix).

This week we are moving the kids into one shared bedroom. DD's room is being converted into an office for Brett, since he will be working from home for his new job starting Monday. Things are a little crazy at the house getting things moved around, but I'm excited to *hopefully* get some organizing done as a result.

Here is the new bedding I'm planning to get for the kid's room...
