Countdown to kindergarten!

With only 16 days left until school starts…I am thinking often about what our days are going to be like! 


I am very excited about the arrangement we have with our school.  They are our “umbrella” for keeping records, testing, etc.  They also have degreed teachers that provide lesson plans and teach the students from two days to five days a week.  We have chosen to do 3 days of home school and 2 days of on campus classes.  The school also offers a complete home school option, which we may want to do in the future.  Little girl has already met one of the girls in her class (her class has a total of 5 girls).


I’ve been getting lots of school supplies on sale here and there, ordered all our curriculum, and am anxiously awaiting the full day of training with the teacher that is coming up.


I found some great books on clearance yesterday when I was at the Christian bookstore…




It’s been fun starting my school library. I’ve also been on the look out for fun activities that we can work into our school days to make things a little more fun and interesting.

So…lots of shopping ;-) and prepping as we countdown to kindergarten!
