Over the Hill?

Saturday I entered my 30’s. With two kids, a minivan and a mortgage, I figured it was about time. I had a great afternoon with my step-mom Diane and some ladies from church – we went to a great place called “the Barn” in Lake Alfred and ate at a great tea room called “Lavender and Lace”.

Here’s my special birthday lunch…

We had a great time shopping and relaxing. Then that evening I met up with my in-laws and family at Sweet Tomatoes (yummo).

It was a really great day! Diane made me this beautiful cake…homemade strawberry icing (to die for.  DD claimed it was also her birthday…so she helped me open my cards!

Here's what I found at my cubicle this morning at work :-)

My dear, Over the Hill! I at 50 am not over the hill so keep climbing. Everyday is great when we are in His loving arm!

I think I will be over the hill at 60 as I believe I am going to live to 100, how about you?

Love, Mary

30 is a good age - you will do it well. I was freaking a little myself this time around...I'm only four years away from 40 :)

Blessings to you dear, thank you for all the pics so I could share the day with you!
